Gruber Windsifter Industrial Precleaner

The Gruber Industrie air classifier grain rings of the GR series are characterised by their particularly stable construction for a long service life in continuous use. They are used for powerful pre-cleaning of the grain, maize and other grain crops from dust, chaff and other light foreign bodies. It eliminates up to 85% of the foreign matter in the grain. This means faster and more even drying of the grain as well as an improvement in the quality of the stored goods. These grain precleaners work according to the air classifier principle and are suitable for separating those parts that are lighter than grain (e.g. dust, husks, small grains, etc.). The air classifier fan can be adjusted to the required air output, which depends on the type of grain, among other things. The air flow separates the lighter parts in the cleaning cone and thus ensures a good cleaning effect.

The air volume and thus the degree of cleaning can be changed by means of a throttle valve at the outlet of the cleaner fan or by means of electronic speed control of the fan motor (frequency converter).

The grain is fed through the inlet spout on the side of the cleaning cone. The rotating distribution wheel distributes the grain optimally, cleans it and feeds it into the collection funnel.
