The Gruber smooth wall round silo is one of the highest quality outdoor silos on the market. The silo wall thickness or the dead weight of our silos exceeds that of conventional corrugated sheet silos in the majority of cases. Thick silo walls in combination with high-quality sheet metal grades result in a longer service life. Our patented smooth-wall silo has no bracing on the inside and the silo feet are also completely bolted to the outer shell. This means that there is hardly any dust build-up inside the round silo and less wear during emptying. A proven silo system not only for farmers, but also for pellet storage and industry.
The Gruber smooth wall silo can be supplied with a filling volume per silo of 35m³ to 3737 m³ or silo diameter 3.0m to 15m.
Hopper silo: For Gruber outdoor silos, silo hoppers (in standard design 35°) can be mounted.
Ventilation silo: For optimal grain ventilation, either a ventilation funnel, ventilation floor (flat) or ventilation channels can be installed. The ventilation fan is adjusted to the silo height and the silo content.
Optional silo equipment: silo access door, silo feedthrough for extraction auger, silo cover net, silo thermometer, silo walkway and much more.
The smooth wall round silo type GWSA is equipped as standard with silo supports, stiffening rings, silo roof with filling spout and stable floor mounting ring.

The round silo is designed for outdoor installation and is made of smooth, galvanised steel sheets. A high zinc coating (450 g/m²) and strong silo walls (1.0 mm to 4.0 mm) ensure maximum stability and thus the longest possible service life.
Thanks to the patented system, no supports are bolted to the interior – only a smooth silo wall – in order to achieve advantages in terms of low dust deposits and wear and tear or service life. Gruber smooth wall silos are up to 35% heavier than conventional corrugated silos.
The silos are equipped as standard with stiffening rings bolted to the outer shell, silo supports and silo roof with filling spouts.
Better storage quality is ensured by optimum grain slippage, as the smooth walls prevent dust deposits. This prevents preserved or moist grain from solidifying in the silo.
