Gruber Grain Technology - 50 years of experience in wet corn processing
Whole grain silos

Whole grain preservation process:
In whole grain silage (GKS), the moist maize grains are preserved without being crushed. Whole grain preservation is based on the fact that the stored grain processes the atmospheric oxygen present in the silo into CO2 and this gas exerts the preservative effect. Fermentation pests, such as yeasts and moulds, no longer find atmospheric oxygen. However, an inhibition of the lactic acid bacteria does not occur.

The following musher mills of the types MM are available:

The exceptional performance and quality of the Gruber wet corn mill series PROFI is based on 55 years of experience in mill construction.
The PROFI maize mill is also available as a universal version – type U – which can also be used to grind dry or wet grain. Screen perforations between 3mm and 16mm are available for this type.
Gruber maize mills have a patented inlet chute (no “grain bounce” possible) through which the wet maize passes to the stable beater rotor. The steel sieve of the maize mill takes over the sizing. The ground material is then ejected by means of a stable fan, supported by an additional air inlet.

The Gruber wet corn auger has a finely adjustable intake control (slider). This is because even feeding of the maize mill increases the performance of your mill. The maize auger is very sturdy and mounted on both sides. As an option, the Gruber wet corn auger is available with running gear and hitch for the implement rail.
The Gruber wet corn auger is available with an intake basket or as a “cannon” with an intake gutter:
- Wet corn auger type FMS 200 – outer tube diameter 185mm: max. 25 t/h
- Wet corn cannon type FMK 200 – outer barrel dia. 185mm, with gutter: max. 25 t/h
- Wet corn auger type FMS 240 – outer tube diameter 240mm: max. 40 t/h
- Wet corn cannon type FMK 240 – outer barrel dia. 240mm, with gutter: max. 40 t/h
